Delete your account

Last updated: June 16, 2026

You can delete your GigPaper account and the data associated with it at any time. This page explains how, what gets deleted, and what may be retained.

The short version. Email info@gigpaper.app from the address on your account and ask us to delete it, or use the in-app option in Settings. We remove your account and its encrypted data; a small set of payment/tax records may be retained as required by law.

Option 1 — In the app

  1. Open GigPaper and go to Settings.
  2. Choose Delete account.
  3. Confirm. Your account and associated data are scheduled for deletion.

Option 2 — By email

Send a request to info@gigpaper.app from the email address registered to your account, with the subject "Delete my account." We will verify the request and process it. If you write from a different address, we may ask you to confirm ownership of the account.

What gets deleted

What may be retained

Some records are kept only as long as required for legal, tax, accounting, or fraud-prevention purposes — for example, transaction and payment records held by our payment processor, Stripe. These are retained in accordance with applicable law and are deleted when no longer required.

Export first, if you want a copy

Deletion is permanent. Before you delete, you can export your clients, documents (PDF), and history (CSV) from within the app at any time.

How long it takes

Account deletion requests are processed promptly, typically within 30 days. You will receive confirmation by email once your account has been deleted.
